Xiaomi EV customers wait months for deliveries as a sign of high demand

China’s Xiaomi is advising potential buyers of the SU7 electric sedan to expect a wait of four to seven months, indicating strong demand for its first vehicle.
The maker of smartphones and other consumer electronics began taking orders on Thursday, placing 88,898 pre-orders in the first 24 hours.
