Microsoft invests €4 billion in France

Technology and software giant Microsoft will invest 4 billion euros ($4.3 billion) in France as part of its annual “Choose France” business summit, vice president and president Brad Smith told Le Figaro newspaper.

Smith said that much of the investment money will be focused on the artificial intelligence (AI) sector and that Microsoft will set up a data centre in Mulhouse, France.
