Australia’s central bank holds interest rates, reducing tightening bias

The Reserve Bank of Australia kept interest rates unchanged on Tuesday and eased its tightening bias, signaling that inflation will return to target as the economy slows.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), which wrapped up its two-day March rate-setting meeting, kept interest rates at a 12-year high of 4.35% for the third consecutive meeting and said it was not ruling out any policy action.
