Amazon invests $1.3 billion in France and creates 3000 jobs

Amazon announced on Monday that it is investing more than 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion) in its French operations and creating more than 3,000 permanent jobs in the country.
The French presidency said on Sunday that Amazon and other companies including GSK and Accenture will announce billions of euros in investments as part of the country’s annual “Choose France” event, which starts on Monday.
