US NFP data showed an increase based on today’s report

In March, total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 303,000 and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.8 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Job growth was primarily seen in the health care, government and construction sectors. The household survey showed minimal variation in unemployment rates across demographic groups, with slight fluctuations observed across racial and gender categories.
