Tether Mints Another 1 Billion USDT

Today, Tether has issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network, although this will only serve as inventory for future issuance requests. Since the beginning of the year, Tether has minted over $16 billion worth of new USDT, and its current market capitalization exceeds $83 billion. In 2023, USDT’s market dominance has reached new heights due to regulatory and banking crises faced by other stablecoin issuers in the United States.
