The multinational telecommunications provider Vodafone has announced its future plans to integrate blockchain technology into smartphones’ SIM cards. The company expects that by 2030, there will be around eight billion smartphones in use, and during the same period, it predicts a surge in crypto wallets to 5.6 billion, making it essential to integrate SIM cards with blockchains and digital identities.
