SEC Again Delays Decision on Spot ETH ETF

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has extended the decision deadline for the Hashdex spot ETH ETF and the ARK 21Shares Ethereum ETF until May, citing the need for more time to consider proposed rule changes and related questions. According to Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart, the possibility of approving a spot Ethereum ETF in May is becoming increasingly unlikely, as there appears to be a lack of cooperation among US regulators and potential issuers such as BlackRock, Fidelity, Invesco, Galaxy Digital, Grayscale, VanEck, 21Shares, and Ark, as well as Hashdex.
