Optimism Fixes Its Bugs

The Ethereum layer 2 network, Optimism, has fixed two critical vulnerabilities found on its testnet, just weeks after its competitor, Offchain Labs, reported the security flaws to the team. Optimism modified its timer handler code, successfully addressing the root cause of the issues that allowed malicious actors to manipulate the network’s history.
