Munchables: A Multi-Act Drama

The award-winning Munchables gaming platform by Blast Big Bang received $62 million worth of ETH back into a multisig wallet after it was stolen from them yesterday. It emerged from the news feed that one of their lead developers was a North Korean hacker. The project’s centralized control within smart contracts provided the developer with the ability to transfer funds under their control, which they exploited in this case. Shortly afterward, they returned the stolen 17,412.6 ETH and resigned.
