The banking giant HSBC has launched tokenized gold products for retail customers in Hong Kong. The bank has already established its own platform called HSBC Orion, built on distributed ledger technology, through which the HSBC Gold Token will be accessible, alongside previously issued digital bonds. Retail investors in Hong Kong can access tokenized gold through the HSBC online banking website and mobile application.
