Google’s search service has expanded its features, allowing users to now search for balances across multiple blockchain wallets. Following initial support for the Ethereum network, wallets for Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Polygon, and Fantom are now supported. When entering a wallet address, search results display the token balance for each network along with the timestamp of the last update. However, not everyone welcomed the news with enthusiasm, as Bitcoin proponents focusing on privacy are highly critical of such centralized data collection.
