FBI Warns Americans Against Using DeFi

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a warning to Americans advising them not to use services from cryptocurrency firms that are not registered as Money Services Businesses (MSBs) under federal law and do not comply with anti-money laundering regulations. The FBI also suggested that users check on the website of the United States Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to see if a particular business is registered as a money services business.
