Friend.Tech Shuts Down

The developers of Friend.Tech, a platform that saw immense success last year, have relinquished control over the protocol’s smart contracts, effectively halting any future changes. Currently, fees generated from smart contracts and the website no longer flow to the developers’ wallets. While the platform still appears to function, the withdrawal of governance makes the implementation of new features unlikely.

New Bitcoin Scaling Solution Protocol Launched

Fractal Bitcoin has launched its mainnet, offering a new Bitcoin scaling solution that builds on the core codebase. Backed by the wallet provider Unisat, the project aims to differentiate itself from other Bitcoin sidechains by focusing on Bitcoin-native constructs rather than relying on EVM compatibility.
