This claim, based on speculation, holds as much credibility as any other conjecture. In a statement today, Todd denied this assertion.

AAA On-Chain Game on Sony PlayStation 5 Console

Gunzilla Games has launched the early access version of its battle royale video game, Off the Grid, for the Sony PlayStation 5 console and the Epic Games Store. According to early previews, the game boasts AAA-level graphics and gameplay. It will be the first free-to-play on-chain game on these platforms, allowing players to trade in-game assets. Gunzilla’s GUNZ blockchain will be used for these transactions.

VanEck Enters the Venture Capital Market

The American asset manager VanEck has announced a new initiative to support early-stage crypto and artificial intelligence projects. To aid this, they are launching a $30 million fund called VanEck Ventures, which will invest in fintech, crypto, and AI startups at the pre-seed and seed stages.

Bitfinex Could Receive $5.8 Billion

According to a new U.S. regulatory announcement, Bitfinex, the sister company of the Tether stablecoin issuer, may be the only entity eligible for compensation related to the 2016 hack. During the attack, approximately 120,000 BTC were stolen from the platform. With the case now settled, Bitfinex could receive around $5.8 billion in compensation.
