SEC's Lawsuits Against Binance Continue

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in the District of Columbia dismissed the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) allegations against Binance and its founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) regarding secondary market BNB sales and the Simple Earn program, which claimed BNB assets qualify as securities. However, the judge allowed the lawsuits concerning Binance’s BNB staking program, anti-fraud violations, and post-ICO sales of BNB to proceed in court.
