Microsoft to Vote on Bitcoin Investment

A filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reveals that Microsoft is considering investing in bitcoin. The proposal has been included as a “voting item” for its upcoming shareholder meeting on December 10. However, the board of directors has recommended voting against the proposal.

U.S. Government Hacked

According to on-chain tracking by Arkham Intelligence, approximately $20 million worth of crypto assets have been stolen from wallets belonging to the U.S. government. The unusual activity began on Thursday, when assets that had been inactive for months were withdrawn from the Aave decentralized lending platform. These assets had been seized in criminal cases linked to Bitfinex hackers. The hacker has already started laundering the funds.
