SEC Approves Bitcoin ETF Options Trading
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has fast-tracked the approval of multiple Bitcoin ETF options for trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe). These include the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, ARK21Shares Bitcoin ETF, Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, Franklin Bitcoin ETF, VanEck Bitcoin Trust, WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust BTC, Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, and Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund. The SEC had first approved the listing of options for the iShares Bitcoin Trust on Nasdaq in September.
Introducing dGEN1, the Ethereum “Mobile”
The team behind the ethOS operating system, Freedom Factory, has unveiled a new mobile device, the dGEN1, specifically designed for on-chain interactions with Ethereum dapps. The device is built on ethOS, a fork of the Android operating system, and features an integrated ethOS browser and wallet that supports IPFS and .eth domains, a transaction notification screen, and a native Nimbus light client for verifying user data without relying on third-party RPCs. The device is expected to launch in Q2 2025.
