Paradigm Launches New Company

Venture capital firm Paradigm has announced the launch of its spin-off company, Ithaca, backed by a $20 million investment. Ithaca is developing the layer-2 Odyssey blockchain, built using the OP Stack, which will support Ethereum’s future plans, such as more user-friendly smart contract wallets. Ithaca aims to provide developers with easier infrastructure solutions.

Avalanche-Based Battle Royale Shooter Tops Charts

Developed by Gunzilla Games, the Avalanche-based battle royale shooter Off the Grid has climbed to the top of the Epic Game Store’s most popular free PC games list, surpassing even Epic’s own popular titles Fortnite and Rocket League. The game features its own Avalanche subnet for the upcoming GUN token and in-game NFT items, which can be traded by players.
