$32 Million Worth of spWETH Stolen

An entity tied to a major crypto wallet lost over $32 million worth of spark wrapped ether tokens (spWETH) after signing a malicious transaction. According to the blockchain security service ScamSniffer, the theft was executed using the notorious Inferno Drainer scam-as-a-service software, which targets crypto traders by faking popular DeFi protocols and tricking users into signing away control of their wallets.

Space Nation Online Launches

The transmedia franchise Space Nation has launched its MMORPG game, Space Nation Online, which aims to become the next big Star Wars-like game. Built on Ethereum’s scaling network, Immutable zkEVM, the game is currently in its first soft launch phase, preparing for a global release. The developers hope to attract a broader Web2 audience and see this blockchain-based game as the central element of their expanding sci-fi IP.
