Worldcoin World ID Arrives on Solana

Worldcoin, endorsed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has integrated the World ID into Solana via the Wormhole protocol, extending its reach beyond the Ethereum ecosystem. Worldcoin assigns digital identities to individuals, allowing developers on Solana to prioritize real people in their blockchain applications. The project currently boasts approximately 6.6 million registrations.

STRK Token Staking Gets the Green Light

The Ethereum Layer 2 ZK-rollup network, Starknet, has approved a governance proposal to introduce staking on the network by the end of 2024. Staking will require a minimum of 20,000 STRK tokens (approximately $8,000), and those with fewer tokens can participate by delegating their tokens to eligible stakers. The mainnet launch is planned for the fourth quarter.
