Binance Appoints Supervisor

The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has designated the London-based forensic accounting and compliance advisory firm, Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), as the external supervisor for Binance crypto broker. Over the next three years, FRA’s task will be to ensure that Binance complies with the terms of the deferred prosecution agreement related to prohibited financial activities. During supervision, the firm will have access to Binance’s internal records, facilities, and employees to report on the company’s activities to the government.
