VeChain Tokenizes UFC Fighters’ Gloves

The team behind the layer-1 blockchain VeChain has announced a partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to tokenize the gloves worn by UFC fighters, making them traceable on the VeChainThor network. The gloves will contain NFC chips that record fight data and authenticate the gloves’ authenticity through the VeChainThor network. Fighters will begin wearing the gloves at UFC 300, scheduled for April 13th.
