Bhutan Triples Bitcoin Mining Capacity

Bhutan’s investment arm, Druk Holding & Investments, has partnered with cryptocurrency mining company Bitdeer Technologies Group to triple Bhutan’s mining capacity using state-of-the-art technology. The proposed developments aim to double mining capacity by 500 megawatts in the first half of 2025, resulting in a total capacity of 600 megawatts.
