Crypto.com to Launch in South Korea at Month’s End

Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency broker, has announced that it will launch its retail trading services in South Korea on April 29th. The new unit will replace the local OK-BIT brokerage platform, which was acquired in 2022. The Crypto.com App service will allow South Korean residents to trade cryptocurrencies, but it will not serve institutional clients, as South Korean-based institutions are prohibited from investing directly in cryptocurrencies.
