Crypto index fund manager Bitwise has also filed its application for the issuance of a spot ETH exchange-traded fund (ETF) with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, joining the ranks of asset managers waiting for approvals inspired by the success of spot BTC ETFs. However, there is increasing uncertainty regarding when regulatory authorities may give the green light to such products.
