SEC cannot find CZ for now

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking “alternative service” of process from the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., to issue a legal subpoena to Changpeng Zhao, CEO of crypto broker Binance ‘CZ’ and Binance, who were recently sued by the SEC for alleged unregistered securities transactions. Binance’s CEO is rumoured to be based in Dubai, but as he has no known base of operations, the SEC is seeking permission to serve him on behalf of his lawyers.
