According to the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.3% in September 2024 compared with the previous month to 107.2 points.

Annual inflation was +0.8% compared with the same month of the previous year. The monthly decline of 0.3% is due to a number of factors, including lower prices for international travel packages, additional accommodation and air travel.
