Chinese car sales fell for the third month in a row in June

Chinese car sales fell 6.9% in June from a year earlier, the third straight month of declines, as government stimulus failed to spur consumer demand amid a rapid economic recovery.
Total passenger car sales stood at 1.78 million, accelerating the pace of decline from a 2.2 percent plunge in May and a 5.8 percent plunge in April, data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) showed on Monday.
